This is an advanced graduate seminar covering theory, methods, and applications of diagnostic psychometric models.

This course explores model-based approaches to provide diagnostic information, new psychometric models that hold promise of providing better diagnostic information, and their implications for test design. A primary focus is on how psychometric models can be used with diagnostic sub-scores that are more reliable and less correlated than traditional approaches.
